The machine is used to test the degree of thermal deformation of plastics and wire skins, etc. The test piece is placed freely at a specific temperature for 30 minutes and then clamped between parallel plates of the machine, with a specified load, and placed at the same temperature for another 30 minutes, then the difference between the thickness of the gauge before and after heating, divided by the thickness before heating, in percentage, is the deformation rate.
