Hot Wire Ignition Test Apparatus
Overview
The Scorch Wire Tester is a device for evaluating the flammability and fire propagation characteristics of materials and finished products in the event of a fire incident. It simulates the ignition of parts in electrical equipment or solid insulating materials due to fault currents, overload resistance and other heat sources. The Scorch Wire Tester is applicable to electrical and electronic products, household appliances, and their materials, and can evaluate their risk of ignition when subjected to thermal stress for a short period of time.
The specifications or requirements
0℃-1000℃ Automatic DUT clamping trolley, can set the depth of the scorch wire probe and test time. Test time setting range 0s-99s, timing accuracy better than 0.1s with a standard fume cupboard.
