This instrument is used to determine the melt flow rate of various polymers in the viscous flow state, it is suitable for both the higher melting temperature of polycarbonate, polyarylsulfone, fluorine plastics and so on. It is also suitable for polyethylene, polystyrene, resin and other plastics with low melting temperature test, the instrument conforms to the provisions of GB/3682-2000; ASTM-D1238, D3364; JIS-K7210; ISO1133 standards.
Melt flow rate refers to the thermoplastic at a certain temperature and load, the melt every 10 minutes through the standard mouth mould mass or volume. This instrument is only applicable to the determination of melt flow rate (MFR) by mass method, and its value can characterise the viscous flow characteristics of thermoplastics in the molten state.
